Ok so between long hibernation periods of the last 48 hours or so. I have managed to accomplish some work towards my next major artistic project. The idea came to me somewhere during this hectic weekend were time has lost all meaning. I have spent most of the last 2 day sleeping and the periods I have been awake for I remember very little of. Right now I am deep within a level of the artistic inspiration mode that can only be born from this form of distorted chaos that defies the usual sleep and activity routine that my life has become. This is a journal of sorts I guess. I actually have no idea why I’m recording my thoughts on this project and this weekend in general. However this chronicle could prove to be of use later. Its not often I have the chance to reach a state like this. Probably because I lack the key ingredient to achieve it, complete solitude that is.

Anyway now to explain my latest artistic project in more detail. My inspiration and motivation for this series is provided by my beautiful & adoring girlfriend Mick. I dedicate this series to you sweetheart. The series itself is probably the biggest thing I’ve ever committed to. Basically it’s a series of music videos which I will post on youtube over the course of the next several months. The series will be the 10 greatest love songs of all time as selected by me. They will be in no particular order apart from that the last vid that I post, #10. Will be the greatest love song of all time as selected by me. The 9 videos leading up until that will be so close to being the greatest of all time. So I couldn’t possibly choose one over the other. So it won’t be a count down as such. More like 9 of the best love songs ever. Followed by the release of the actual best love song of all time. Which I will of course be posting on Valentine’s Day next year. Now I will be trying 2 make the best videos possible. My first one is rather plain, but it’s still very moving and should serve to bring a tear to a glass eye none the less. Searching google I found hundreds of pics 2 use, but you still may see a lot of pics in future videos re-used because I would need thousands of pics 2 have each video feature all new pics. I will be doing a lot of experimentation with this series though over the course of the next few videos. So I wanna fool around with some new ideas and different ways of doing things that I haven’t tried in the past. I will be posting my first video shortly. It feature the song Far Away by Nickelback and is video #1 in my series. I’ll post this section of my journal as a blog on my page at CA once its posted and add a clickable link to the video.

Lastly as part of my project I though it would be a cool idea to get some audience participation happening for this. Naturally I will be selecting all the songs myself for the videos, but if anyone wants to make a recommendation or tell me their favorite love song or what they think is the greatest love song of all time. Your quite welcome to post a comment on my blog. Btw there are a few songs that won’t be in the series, but probably should. This is only because I can’t find mp3 files of certain songs online. So I thought I’d mention 2 love songs that won’t be in my series, but should be. Ace Young’s Addicted & No Ones Gonna Love You, by a band called Band of Horses. If anyones interested in hearing either of those songs. There are other videos featuring those songs on youtube at the moment.
