Australia Day & The Death of Heath Ledger

If ur an aussie its time to put on ur best pair of footy shorts, throw a couple snags (sausages) on the barbi (BBQ), crack open a cold beer and settle down in ur favorite deck chair & sweat ur ass off while getting tanked with a few good mates. Its an Australia Day tradition I've honored since I was about 16 yrs old. Well before that, but without beer.
Yes its the Australia Day long weekend. Its a time to celebrate the founding of this country and a time where all aussies pay thanks to the greatest country on Earth. I may complain a lot about the heat here & the boredom factor of Adelaide. Still I'm proud to be a pure breed aussie bloke. I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else and Australia Day always reminds me of that. Its a day to be lazy & why shouldn't we be. Australian men (& women to, but more the men no offense intended) have always had a very strong work ethic. We slave & sweat in jobs that would kill the average man, not to mention the heat. So we deserve a day off work for the purposes of laziness lol.
This Australia Day is different though. I have a lot to be thankful for yes, but I also have a lot on my mind. Most of all I'm thankful I have found a sweet girl that I love, but I wish I could spend the day with her. Another thing that hit me hard was the death of Australian actor Heath Ledger. Possibly our greatest actor of all time. Not to mention our hottest (yeah u heard me right. I'm Bi-sexual & if that bothers u. I got 2 words 4 ya: FUCK OFF) Anyway Heath was 1 of my fav actors. Probably my 2nd fav after Johnny Depp (also fucking hot) and his death well yeah its a shock. He was only 28 and they say only the good die young. Heath was a good man. He loved his family and his 2yr old daughter. He loved his job and respected his fans. What disgusts me is this talk about him committing suicide or being on drugs. Also the highlighting of his hatred of media & other bad things about him. We should be honoring him not speaking ill of the dead & spitting on his grave before he's even been buried.
So yeah Heath was a good man & yeah this is bullshit. The cause of death hasn't yet been determined, but I'll bet everything I own it was accidental.
