Ok so yeah just to let everyone here know I have moved the homepage of my Xplicit Intent label from here to vampirefreaks.com just click the above this paragraph and it will take you straight to it. I have less restrictions on vampirefreaks and there is more I can do and post there. I'm still going to try and be as active as possible here, using this as a promotional page from now on, but my main focus will be on the my new VF page now. As well as my art projects. So I'll mainly only have time to promote new work on here as its released on VF. I have little time to spare for that even at the moment which is the main reason for this blog. I have had the new VF page up a few weeks now, but... well I am actually still working on it. It is pretty much complete now & should be 100% complete very soon and after that I will be releasing all my Xplicit Intent artwork and updates about upcoming projects though that site.

Xplicit Intent Merchandise is now available through deviantart.com all profits made from the Xplicit Intent line and any other produces sold through deviantart.com will now be re-invested into Xplicit Intent & fund future art projects to be released under this banner. Anyway I have mugs, magnets (large & small), mouse pads, postcards, greeting cards, and just plain old prints of the Xplicit Intent logo. Basically everything shown in the photo above. I ordered stock of each so that I could inspect the merchandise personally before giving it my stamp of approval by going on record to endorse these produces and say that they are worth what deviantart is charging.

Ok now some of you may remember a short blog I wrote about 6 months back about me playing the part of The Crow, a role made famous by one of my idols, the late Brandon Lee. Well that blog was really more of a joke that came from a photo series I did that was inspired in part by The Crow, but I wasn’t really trying to portray that role. I did a whole thing with very pale make-up & the long coat, I used cards for some of the pieces & I think I even had a black rose I wanted to use in a photo, but I don’t know if I used it or not… Anyway there were a lot of things that influenced me in that shoot, but I was probably more influenced by Criss Angel than Brandon Lee on that day. So the fact that one of the photos I did bared striking resemblance to The Crow, that was not my intent. That was a fluke. This is not =)
This is the photo series I did this morning. After the response I got from the fluke photo and the number of people that believed me to be fit to play that role. I started thinking about it. I don’t possess any acting ability, so I’d probably be the worst choice for the role. Still I knew I could look the part. There was no question in my mind of that. So yeah I decided to do a photo series with myself as The Crow and dedicate it to the memory of Brandon Lee.
I kinda started out with the original Crow make-up design and then decided to do my own version about half way through cuz I wanted the face paint to be more reminiscent of a bird & I think I did well with that part =) also I thought having much more black around the eyes would look a lot creepier. So its not exactly the Crow, but more my version of the Crow.

What is love??? Its an interesting question. Mostly because it has no real answer to it. Some say true love is suicide. Some say love hurts. Some say that love is the closest a person can ever get to heaven. Some say that love is addiction. There really is no right or wrong answer. Except for this: Love is a feeling you can't escape from. You can't choose to love. Love chooses you. It lifts you up to heaven and sometimes drags you down to the pits of your own personal hell. There is no escape from it. No cure to it. No way to stop it from happening. No way to decide who you feel these feelings for. Once bitten never cured as they say. If this does not ring true with your feelings for another. If you say these three words "I Love You" by choice, because you want to feel this way for someone. Because you fear what will happen if you don't. Because you think you should for their sake. Then what you feel is false. A fake, a lie in its purest form. What you feel is not what I feel now. You will know love when you encounter it. You will never forget that feeling. You will never be able to control true love and you will never fall out of love. You may love again as I have, but the feelings you feel for the ones you loved in times past will remain always. Sometimes these feelings leave a scar on your soul. "Scar" the perfect description right there. Because just like love a scar can never be erased. Time will heal all wounds and the pain will one day pass for good, but the scar will always remain. So in summary love is not something you decide to have. Its something you feel. Denying it gets you nowhere. You can't run from it. It won't just go away and true love only becomes stronger over time. So when the time is right. When your ready to say these words. You don't just say them. You confess as I am now. When you choose to admit it to yourself and to the one you love, how you choose to do it. These are not important. Because what you say comes from the heart and the soul. There is no line to fear crossing. No rejection to consider facing. Because these are not the point of your confession. You do not confess your love to win the affections of another. You confess your love to that person to purify your own soul. If they do not love you, if they reject you, if you cross a line and scare them away. Does it change the fact that your in love? If you answered yes. Then what you feel is not true love. Most likely you have confused love with lust. Needing with wanting. If this happens then you cannot begin to understand what love really is. You do not feel as I feel at this moment. You will know love when it comes, you will never be unsure. You will understand not what it is, but how it is once you find your first true love as I did sometime ago and then if you come to fall in love again with another as I now have. You will recognize what you feel. Like an old friend come home to you. Providing warmth deep within you when you need it most.
